We put out a reminder on Friday about the Solent Inn running a Help for Heroes fund-raising music weekend.
Helen Fastnedge, the Ryde pub’s landlady, called us this morning to let us know that they raised an impressive £704.57. A significant increase of the £500 they had aimed for.
