Well done to all the synchronised ice skaters from the Isle of Wight who took part in a national competition in Cardiff last weekend. They came home with one Gold and three Silver medals.

A member of the Trust said a dispute has been bubbling away for about eight weeks, but no notice was given and there has been no court order or procedure followed.

The successful application means that Ryde Arena is now listed as an Asset of Community Value and can't be disposed of without giving community groups a chance to bid for it.
