Stay informed with new Family Information Hub Website for parents and carers on the Isle of Wight

If you’re a parent or carer on the Isle of Wight, our new Family Information Hub Website will help to keep you up to date with information, support and advice available in your area.

Launched today (Monday), the online directory provides information about organisations, services and activities available to you and your family.

It includes early years and childcare, support for families, health and wellbeing, leisure and much more.

Built to evolve
The Family Information Hub will grow as new organisations sign up and share information about what they provide.

The site has a great search tool, which means you can search by postcode for things happening in your local area.

Andre: Will help to connect parents, carers and families with helpful information
Cllr Debbie Andre, Cabinet member for children’s services, education and skills, said,

“As more information is added and new organisations sign up to share details of the services they offer, the new online directory will become the definitive Family Information Hub for the Island.

“It will help to connect parents, carers and families with helpful information, groups and sessions to support them in their family journey.

“I’d encourage anyone who offers support to families, from local coffee mornings and toddler play sessions, to organisations offering statutory services, to register and make full use of this new, free, single directory for families on the Isle of Wight.”

The Website has been launched with information gathered and previously held by the council.
