Still time to plan, create and enter your land art as part of Tour of Britain celebrations

There is still time to enter your plans and creations in the land art competition being held as part of the Tour of Britain celebrations.

On Sunday, when the cycle race is televised around the world, aerial footage of the race will highlight land art creations across the Isle of Wight.

Visit Isle of Wight are running a competition that will see the winners take home a £50 Wight Gift card.

Seven entries
Entries so far include:

  • Gift to Nature will create land art on Brading Down 
  • Ryde Town Council will do some beach art on Ryde beach 
  • Isle of Wight Pearl have a creation from Losten Art (see pictured)
  • Brighstone CE Aided Primary School are planning something
  • The National Trust are looking at doing something at the National Trust Needles Battery and Compton Beach 
  • Chale, Niton and Whitwell Town Councils are also looking to do something together on the day

Entries are open until end of day Sunday 11th September.
