Not for the faint-hearted, the Lunar Hex marked a zombie apocalypse last Saturday night in Ryde. Survivors were treated to an evening of Gorelesque Burlesque, live music, spoken word, drag and lots of glitter.
Tickets are selling fast for this special evening of Cabaret and song being hosted by Isle of Wight Gay Men’s Chorus and raising money for the Breakout Youth Project, which provides an invaluable service to LGBTQ young people.
BalletWorks promise a treat and a half this month as they return to Medina Theatre with dancers from Stuttgart Ballet, Hamburg Ballet, Staatsballet Berlin and Ballet Augsburg. All in aid of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice.
Ryde Academy Dance Teacher, Hilary Seaton, had the honour of being invited to a lunch in Cardiff to celebrate Rubicon Dance’s 40th birthday where she was told that dancers at the Academy are some of the best in the country.
