Well done to the IW 4×4 Club drivers Thomas Cowley, Steve Darch and Keith Walton, as well as 4×4 Response team, Police and other emergency service workers who have helped those in vital roles such as healthcare workers and carers get around the Isle of Wight over the last couple of days.
Some people saw just a dusting of snow and couldn’t understand what ‘all the fuss’ was about.
Hopefully this shot of the road out of Niton heading to Blackgang gives an idea of what it has been like in rural areas and why it has been so difficult for residents to get to work or school.
