Officers investigating a theft at a yacht club near Ryde on the Isle of Wight are appealing for information.

The incident occurred just after midnight on Monday, April 8, when suspects have entered Brading Haven Yacht Club in St Helens damaged two CCTV camera’s and removed four thirteen and a half foot kayaks which were chained and padlocked outside the club house.

The stolen kayaks were all top of the range models which included a red Tootega Prophecy 135 and three from the Ocean range.

Possibly large vehicle used
It is thought that a large vehicle would have been needed to transport the stolen kayaks as they were not only long, but very heavy too.
