On a bright Sunday morning, Rew Valley hosted Downside. Would the one week break do the Valley some good?
Despite Rew Valley starting well, Downside scored in the fifth minute however Rew Valley never gave up. Rew Valley played strong and piled the pressure on Downside and were the better team during the half.
1-1 at half time
In the 25th minute, the time and space came for Callum Steele to get a goal. Callum Steele scored a goal which brought the score level to 1-1. Half time arrived with the score 1-1.
The second half began with enthusiasm for the Valley. Downside scored early in the second half. Rew Valley pulled a goal back provided by Callum Steele. His 2nd goal of the match. Unfortunately Downside scored two more times and sealed the game 2-4.
It always seems to be the second half! A great game by the Valley, the only disappointing thing was the score line. Hopefully, it will be better next week.
