The number of people claiming unemployment benefit on the Isle of Wight in June was 151 lower than in May this year.
It’s also lower than in June 2009 with the number of unemployed claimants totaling 2,768.
We’re told that this represents a rate of 4.7% of the economically active working age population, the 298th highest of the 632 GB constituencies.
