Knowing how community minded the good people of Ventnor are, I’m sure that all carnivores buy their meat from our local Butcher, Norris & Knight on the High Street.
For not only do they stock the finest meats, have a superb deli, offer fresh organic veg and local free range eggs, but they also make the best sausages I’ve ever tasted … which is no surprise because Tony Norris has been Gold Award Winning Sausage Maker for South of England and Isle of Wight on several ocassions.
All made on the premises, the varieties from week to week are endless. Plain pork, pork and leek, pork and tomato, spicy pork, rabbit (bunny bangers), venison, beef and liquid viagra (that’s ventnor brewery’s oyster stout) and the list goes on. I’m sure that if you ask nicely, sausages can be made to order (but don’t quote me on that).
