Vintage Vacations gets so much positive press for the Isle of Wight, it feels like they should be given the role of running tourism on the Island.
(Here’s a slice of the amazing attention they’ve gathered for the Island over the years – Vintage Vacations articles.)
In an article titled ‘Isle of Wight camping: English with an accent‘, Paul Davies clearly enjoyed his time with VV and on the Island, describing it as, “a time-capsule holiday on the time-capsule island”.
“Impossible not to smile”
While picking which airstream they were going to stay in Paul commented, “It is impossible not to smile as you step inside each trailer”, before taking up the option of a 1962 Overlander Airstream (pic above).
It’s amazing to think that a gem like Vintage Vacations went through a period of significant struggle when trying to find a permanent site for the beautiful Airstreams. Happily they found their current site and are going great guns.
