The Environment Agency say wind and waves will cause some spray overtopping to coastal roads and car parks, especially at exposed locations like Freshwater Bay, Shanklin, Gurnard and Sandown.
Overnight and this morning the Environment Agency issued alerts for potential flooding in certain areas and urged residents to protect themselves and their property. Extra caution advised on roads.
Flooding is expected to affect land, gardens, cycle tracks and roads including Golf Links Road and Moreton Common Road, Sandown, as well as Gurnard Road Bridge, which will see water flowing deep and fast over the next few hours
