A reminder that if you’re planning to enter the Wight Fair Writers Circle Winter Writing Competition, entries have to be in by 20th November (drop them off at Waterstone’s in Newport).
The theme this year is ‘Tis The Season To be Jolly’ and the presentation ceremony takes place at Newport Minster on the 20th December with the Chairman of the Council in attendance.
We understand that there’ll be a boy band playing at the presentation ceremony along with a choir singing Christmas Carols, not to mention stalls, refreshments and more.
