Large Yarmouth Drug Haul Not To Be Sniffed AtThe BBC are reporting that a drugs haul of 200 kilos of what is thought to be class A drugs was recovered just off the coast of the Isle of Wight last night.

Three men were arrested in Yarmouth after the drugs were found in ruck sacks attached to lobster pots off the coast.

It’s thought that the estimated value of the drugs would be around £8m.

Update 1.Jun.10 21:13: The BBC are now reporting that three people – two from the Isle of Wight aged 35 and 42 and one from Croatia, aged 34, have been charged with conspiracy to import cocaine. Due in court in Wednesday.

The amount of cocaine that was found has increased to “about 330 kilos (728 lbs).”
