Organisers of the Isle of Arts festival say the artistic success of the event was not matched by a financial one and the annual event will not return to Ventnor in 2016.
Isle of Arts Festival
The Isle of Arts Festival was founded in 2011 by four Ventorians, Gillian Jenner, Christopher Bonney, Janneke and Philip Oxley.
The festival is set in and around Ventnor and offers a wide range of performances in The Arts, from comedy to dance, theatre to live music.
