The row reaches the national broadsheets as parents protest outside the school after pupils wearing either trousers that were deemed too tight or skirts too short were sent home or kept in isolation.
The ‘Teen Fire Fit’ course is for students aged 12 and 13, and designed to improve the teenagers’ standard of life across their education, exercise and social environment.

Dr Fox received praise from the Ofsted inspector who visited in January. They also said the Trust had not provided the Academy with enough targeted support.
Pupils from Ryde Academy who researched and spoke about bullying, stereotyping and negative attitudes toward the LGBTQ+ community have been praised by the Speaker of the House of Commons and presented with The Speaker’s Student Council Award.
