Ryde Academy has a rich history of dance and performance - students will be showcasing their talent at the launch of Derby Day – Saracen’s annual fixture at Wembley in April this year.

A number of topical items were enclosed in a time capsule that has been buried on the site of a new school building in Ryde. It will be opened in 2066.
Money was raised earlier this year by pupils at Ryde Academy on World Water Day. The donations will help the women and children in Kasozi, Uganda who often have to carry 20kg of water over long distances.
Ryde Academy Dance Teacher, Hilary Seaton, had the honour of being invited to a lunch in Cardiff to celebrate Rubicon Dance’s 40th birthday where she was told that dancers at the Academy are some of the best in the country.
Ryde Academy student, Georgia Holmes, and school first aider, Michael Hine, both represented the Isle of Wight St John Ambulance Service at the Hampshire Civic Event at Winchester Cathedral on Sunday.
