WightGeek has been working his magic again, having just released a new version of the Armchair Auditor.
As you may remember, the Armchair Auditor site enables anyone to easily look through the Isle of Wight council’s spending of anything over £500, just by clicking around.
Find and link to individual payment
You are now able to drill-down even further into the data – to the level of an individual payment.
With this, not only can you discuss a payment through the comments at the bottom of each page, but you’re easily able to send that via email to friends and colleagues.
If you’re so inclined, you’re also now able to go through each and every payment in order or size – all 581 pages of it (BTW it’s page 557 before you get through the rebates).
Facebook share easily
To make it really easy for you to tell your friends about the council’s spending, a Facebook ‘Share’ button has been added to each and every expense type; service area; supplier and payment.
Clicking on it gives you everything you need in a popup box.
Faster!
WightGeek has tuned the server so that the pages should load even faster when you’re looking through them (frankly, we thought they were pretty instant already!)
