The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has judged the Earl Mountbatten Hospice to be ‘Outstanding’ - putting them alongside a small group of other hospices across the country which have achieved a similar rating.
The group that supports others by making ‘twiddle muffs’ and ‘twiddle blankets’ for people living with dementia across the Island are short of wool and appeal for donations.

A new music therapy service at the Earl Mountbatten Hospice is offering people opportunities for creativity and expression at a time when these can be difficult to achieve. The first session takes place on 18th January and all are welcome.
This Sunday the Hospice host a Christmas Fayre in Newport. Expect a mix of festive stalls, including local and handmade gifts, stocking fillers, party clothes and fancy dress for all ages, KissyPuppy tombola and raffle.
