Briddlesford Farm Fake Page

Briddlesford Farm debunks fake ‘Save Briddlesford Farm’ anti-solar park Facebook page

Rob Light, the Cafe manager at Bluebells @ Briddlesford Farm has been in touch with claims of fraud being carried in their name.

He explained that someone has set up Facebook Page called ‘Save Briddlesford Farm’, claiming to be by the owners of Briddlesford Farm.

The page carries anti-solar farm messages, presumably by someone against the Sunny Oaks Renewable Energy Park, but Rob explained this has nothing at all to do with the Griffin family – who have been at Briddlesford for generations.

“A fake page created for personal benefit”
Rob has asked for News OnTheWight to warn others about this Page, he says,

“In an effort to stop this misinformation from gaining traction, and creating a narrative that does not reflect our views, we want to state clearly that this is a fake page created for personal benefit, using our brand.

“We do not endorse it in any way, and it has been reported to Facebook’s community standards. We hope for it to be removed as soon as possible.”

Page still active
Rob shared that at 8.30pm on Saturday night, but at time of publishing this article, just after midday on Sunday the page still exists.

The person who set up the page has also used photos of the Griffin family without permission,
