Quick note to let you know that the Cowes Floating Bridge, or Float Boat as some know it as, is back in service after being closed from the 16th March and then delayed beyond the initially anticipated one week.
The Floating Bridge provides a vital link between East Cowes and Cowes. When it’s not working, the trip between the two involves driving to Newport, entailing a 30-40 minute car journey.
The IW Council have apologised for the inconvenience.
