Bidding in the Big Art Auction comes to an end at 11.59pm tomorrow (Thursday 30th April).
This amazing collection of artwork donated by artists and others on and off the Isle of Wight is hoping to raise much-needed cash for a £50,000 12-month fundraising campaign for Ventnor Skatepark.
The money raised will go towards building a concrete skatepark, so that the plywood ramps don’t need to be constantly repaired.
Closing party
If you missed seeing the artwork in person during the launch at Ventnor Exchange, there’s another chance on Thursday night at Wight Trash World in Ryde (59 High Street, PO33 2RJ).
Grab some food, take a bottle and enjoy music from Ventnor’s very own Yank Heartstrings.
It’s a free event, but there will be a donations box with all money going into the skatepark fund.
Bid now
You can see all of the items via The Big Art Auction Website, where you have until 30th April to place your bids.
Finally, well done to all those who have been involved in making this happen. There’s been a huge amount of effort put in.
Let’s hope this auction boosts the start of the fundraising!
