Future of the World with AI

Final panelist revealed for Surviving the Apocalypse Ventnor Fringe event

Last updated:

There are less than a handful of tickets left for OnTheWight and The Book Bus’s Ventnor Fringe event – How to Survive the Apocalypse.

Our fourth panelist
Our panel for the event includes award-winning comedian and NHS junior doctor, Benji Waterstones, the performance poet with a “wonderful gift for language, a deep sensibility and a penetrating sense of perspective” – Toby Thompson, as well as climate crusader and all round lovely human, Claire Hector.

Jen and Tom from The Book Bus, and myself, are over the moon to announce that our fourth and final panelist is Simon Perry – you might recognise his name ;-)

Driven by technology and innovation
Since the first time he got his hands on an Apple II, locked in a room, that you had to request the key to use, Simon’s been fascinated by the possibilities that technology offers.

He’s brought innovation to businesses in many sectors including Investment Banking; Pharma; Security; and the Media, later cross-training as a journalist to write about those changes.

The impact of AI
Having immersed himself in AI since ChatGPT was made public, he’s convinced that the changes that AI has already started to bring will not only be significant to everyone’s lives, but bring huge potential, limited only by imagination.
