For those with an interest in the meltdown of the banks — and frankly who isn’t? — at 10:30 this morning, the House of Commons Treasury Committee will be questioning representatives from the Bank of England about the banking crisis.
Those appearing are Mervyn King, Governor; Paul Tucker, Deputy Governor elect, Financial Stability; Andy Haldane, Executive Director, Financial Stability; and Andrew Bailey, Executive Director, Banking and Chief Cashier, Bank of England
