The company with the rights to extract oil from Isle of Wight sites have today announced they think that there's over 100 million barrels available - and it's 'drill ready'.
The Conservation charity, National Trust, will be hosting a series of public exhibition days at Freshwater, Brighstone and Brook to unveil plans to link Compton Bay with the Downs. All are welcome.
More than 130 Islanders gathered at Compton on Sunday to voice their concerns about fracking on the Isle of Wight. The gathering raised awareness of the campaign and even made it onto the BBC local news (watch the video below).
