This week’s VB Flickr Group Picture of the Week was an easy choice for us.
Fratton Parker (aka Ben Tonner) was ready and waiting to capture shots of the hotly anticipated ‘supermoon’ last weekend.
Alas, the skies above the Island were covered in cloud, but as Ben spotted, the extremes of the tidal changes meant some gems were uncovered for a short period.
He managed to capture this beautifully atmospheric shot of the wreck of the SS Carbon, a steam tug that sank off the coast of the Island in 1947.
