In the continuing series of ‘Ooooo, look at the combinations of interesting dates you can get in the year 2010,’ Sunday will be a great one.
There’s no getting away from it, the human animal is pretty obsessed with decimal things – look at what a big thing is made of 10 year anniversaries of our birthdays – 10th, 20th, 30th, 40th, etc. Probably driven in no small way by (most of us) having ten fingers, we’d imagine.
No matter which country you live in, and in which way your society orders the day/month/year it’s still going to work (eg Japanese specify the year first, then month, finally the day – which is frankly pretty logical really).
So 10.10.10 – as it is on Sunday – should be a pretty significant date, shouldn’t it?
