Join in the celebrations at Freshwater Lifeboat’s Jolly Good Bash today

Today sees the official naming ceremony for Freshwater Independent Lifeboat take place.

Why not head over to Freshwater Bay for a day of celebration and fundraising. From noon until 4.30pm volunteers and supporters will be taking part in the Jolly Good Bash.

The Lifeboat naming ceremony takes place at noon, by chief executive of the MCA, Sir Alan Massey KCB CBE supported by the Wight Diamonds Brass Band.

At the party gets underway with the public party and beer festival (Courtesy of Yates Brewery).

Enjoy music from the SlipShod Singers and Andi Penn will be on hand as children’s magician and juggler.

At 2pm the Tea Bay In The Bay takes place with prizes for the Design your own Tablecloth Competition.

The Hillmans Blues Band will be playing live from 3pm and the event comes to a close at 4.30pm.
