Naturezones holiday club for 8 to 12-year-olds this half-term

Last updated:

Naturezones is running its half-term holiday club on Thursday 22nd October and Thursday 29th October 2026.

Naturezones is a 10 acre living natural history museum based in Blackwater, Isle of Wight.

Nature safaris and fairy houses
The programme includes a nature safari and a bug hunt. Children can toast marshmallows and try worm charming.

Others will make a fairy house or explore the Fairy House Trail. There are nature games, and time in the bird hide for bird watching.

Anyone who completes the nature quiz can claim a wise owl badge.

Each session runs from 10am to 1.30pm and is for children aged eight to 12. Booking is essential through the website, and each session costs £8.

Drop-in days for families
But families without a club place can also visit at their own pace on Thursdays or at weekends, from 10.30am, with last entry at 3pm.

Visitors can try a quiz and explore the new Fairy House Trail. Those who complete the Fairy Quiz get a fairy cake.

No need to book.
