Peach with their Red Funnel Awards

Nominations open for Red Funnel Isle of Wight Awards celebrating tourism excellence

Applications are now open for the fifth annual Red Funnel Isle of Wight Awards. The coveted awards, which recognise the Island’s stand-out tourism businesses, are split into three categories: Accommodation, Food and Drink and Things to Do.

Last year 60 bronze, silver and gold awards were handed out to the Island’s favourite tourism heroes, as voted for by the public.

Don’t miss the deadline
This year, eligible businesses can nominate themselves for two awards from 19 award categories until applications close on 31st March 2024.

New accolades have been added to this year’s event, with a view to further highlighting the exceptional businesses contributing to the Island tourism and bring a new cohort of worthy winners up through the ranks.

‘Isle of Woof Award’
The ‘Isle of Woof Award’ celebrates the best of dog-friendly hospitality on the Island, and is open to businesses who go above and beyond for their four-legged visitors, and owners.

‘Best Roast’ award
Due to popular demand, a ‘Best Roast’ award has also been added to the Food and Drink category, alongside existing awards for Best Burger and Best Fish and Chips awards.

The public will be able to vote for their favourite Island tourism businesses in April, once applications have closed.
