Create an original music video
Budding film-makers are invited to choose one of the five music tracks below and create a video for it. The piece can be as abstract as you like, or be a more literal connection to the lyrics.

You have until 31st August to produce your film, and you don’t need lots of fancy equipment, shooting it on an iPhone or similar is just fine.

The Peter Cramp Awards
Peter Cramp, who was intimately involved with Ventnor Film Society, sadly passed away earlier this year. He was an important Ventnor character and passionate about film, and supporting opportunities for young people.

To honour Peter’s life, the competition will be awarding £850 to spend on equipment for the 18 to 25-year-old category winner and £400 for the under 18 category winner. The money has been generously donated by three individuals who knew Peter.

For those aged over 25 entering the competition there will be a prize of some sort, to be revealed later.

The choice of tracks
Megan Stisted from Brave Island says they have already had several young people sign up to take part.

To apply, head over to the Brave Island opportunity to register your interest.
