Women’s captain wins the Ryde Harriers Easter Egg run

Thanks to Tom for this latest report from the Ryde Harriers. Ed

The runner with the closest nominated time gains the best egg choice, whilst the furthest out gets not a wooden spoon, but the smallest egg possible.

A surprise winner this year as women’s captain Sarah Kavanagh, more used to being fast, than accurate with predicting her run times, got within four seconds of her stated time.

She was followed by men’s captain Pete Still as the next nearest. Fastest on the night was Julie King for the women and Tom Blackwell for the men.
