British Rowing has joined forces with Cancer Research UK for the “Great Row” and are encouraging thousands of rowers across the nation to take on an indoor rowing challenge.
The juniors from Shanklin Sandown Rowing Club came away from the National Junior Indoor Rowing Championships in London with some fantastic results. Well done to you all.
There was a mixed set of results for the Wightlink Sponsored Ryde Rowing Club in their first competitive outing of the season at the Christchurch Head of the Stour. Well done to all who took part.
Sponsors, supporters and helpers of Ryde Rowing Club were entertained at an informal gathering at their Clubhouse last week to thank them for their support during the last year.
The final event of the season was something of a reflection of the club's season, with wins coming from many different events across both gender categories.

The Macmillan Coffee Morning turned into a coffee morning, afternoon and evening as rowers from Ryde Rowing Club celebrated their end of season success.
Ryde Rowing Club had four crews competing at Coast Rowing Championships in Herne Bay on Saturday (3rd September) in the final Coastal Regatta of the 2016 season.
