The event attracted over 100 swimmers last year and as well as the help of inshore rescue teams, the services of kayakers and canoeists are needed to support the swimmers.

Latest win makes 22 swimming medals in three years for two Isle of Wight cadets

Congratulations to Cadets L/Cpl Wiltshire and Carter for representing the Island at the ACF National Swimming Championships recently. They picked up two golds and two bronzes making that 22 medals each in three years.

Top honours for Islanders in West Wight Triathlon

101 individuals and 11 teams took part at the event last weekend, which involves a 600m swim in the pool, 35km bike ride along Military rode to Brighstone and a 7.5km run along the River Yar.
