St Catherine’s Grand Auction and Autumn Picnic

This coming Sunday, Ventnor Rotary and St Catherine’s will be joining forces for their second Grand Auction and Autumn Picnic at Cowes Yacht Haven.

Last year’s event was really successful and there are some spectacular items in the auction (more details below) again this year.

Tickets for this charity event (all proceeds to children’s charities including St Catherine’s) are just £10 per person for tables of ten people.

The auction will be run by Warren Riches from Island Auction Rooms and there’ll also be music from Isle of Wight Youth Stage Band and Dick Taylor (The Pretty Things).

If you’re planning to go along, you’re encouraged to take a picnic, but you can also pre-order these from Cowes Yacht Haven if you want.

This year they will be joined by special guest Major General Martin White CB CBE JP, HM Lord-Lieutenant of the Isle of Wight.

As Aimee Steward and John Whitehouse, from the two charities, explained, “The support of companies and individuals has been amazing. From the very start when we approached Cowes Yacht Haven everyone has been completely supportive. We cannot thank them enough.

“Tables for up to ten people can be booked at £10 per person including entry to the Champagne Raffle. All tables will be decorated for the picnic and for those not wishing to bring their own food, picnic hampers can be purchased in advance from Cowes Yacht Haven. We also plan to place a number of auction items on the website and will be delighted to accept commission bids over the phone or through our website.”
