Isle of Wight Cabinet say floating bridge foot passengers should pay (updated)
Three Isle of Wight councillors were calling for charges on the passenger launch between Cowes and East Cowes to be dropped whilst issue with the floating bridge are resolved. The Cabinet has dismissed the calls.
Floating Bridge re-opening this week – Changes to design will follow
The council promises the Floating Bridge will come back into service this week - - but changes will be made in July to the design of the brand new craft, so cars can get on and off 'at the right angle'.
