UKSA Students Pass With Flying Colours

Congratulations to students from the Isle of Wight who have just successfully completed City and Guilds NVQ Courses with UKSA.

A whopping 92% of the students passed with flying colours with several achieving outstanding results.

UKSA students, Ed Collinge and Warren Henley Hunter (pictured), went the extra mile and it paid off.

We understand they were honoured with awards for outstanding student achievement at a special ceremony held at the Cowes Yacht Haven this week.

Not only that, but Warren has also been nominated to receive a Star Unit, a nationally recognised award for NVQ trainees who show exceptional performance during their studies.

Jon Ely, Chief Executive at UKSA, commented: “We are exceptionally proud of all our NVQ students, who are to be congratulated on their hard work and enthusiasm throughout the course. It is clear that many young people are increasingly looking for alternative, more practical options when it comes to education and training. We are delighted to be able to provide alternative education and look forward to welcoming a new set of NVQ students in September, so they too reach their full potential.”

Two of the students from this years course have landed themselves work for the summer season with UKSA and two others will be joining an apprenticeship programme.

Well done to them all!
