This coming weekend sees a feast of film screenings take place at Quay Arts.
From 4pm on Saturday, the Wight Film Network will be hosting a mammoth screening session of short documentaries and films that cast a unique light on the Isle of Wight.
The films cover a wide variety of subjects, from the history of the Island, to artisan profiles, as well as drama, comedy and documentaries.
The films are of varying lengths, culminating in the première of Island film-maker James Willis’, first feature length film, The Man Who Walked.
We understand that some of the screenings will be followed by the chance to speak to the film-makers directly, so if you’re interested in film-making or just love watching films, why not head down to Quay Arts on Saturday afternoon.
Buy your tickets in advance
Tickets to the screenings in the daytime are £1 each (there are four) and tickets for the two evening screenings are just £3 for both.
Alternatively if you’re planning to indulge for the entire day you can buy a pass for just £4.50 (if bought in advance otherwise £5 on the door) and that’ll enable you to see everything with the one pass.
Given there are so many film-lovers on the Island, we expect this will be a popular event, so make sure you buy your tickets in advance.
