Wildlife Trust’s Fund to help budding naturalists

In celebration of the life and work of the late Dr Peter Brough, the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust has established a fund ‘to acknowledge and encourage the work of amateur naturalists’.

Peter Brough:Grants of up to £500
Applications for support of up to £500 from the Peter Brough Fund are welcomed from individuals or groups engaged in any aspect of the study of natural history.

Applicants are encouraged to explain how the grant will support the proposed work and demonstrate how they intend to share their knowledge with others.

You can download the application form from the Trust’s website www.hiwwt.org.uk and submit it by the 31st August, 2013.

Applications will be considered by the Wildlife Trust’s Conservation Committee and recipients announced at the Trust’s Annual General Meeting on the 19th October, 2013.

Last year’s award was presented to Paul James for his ongoing work studying the birdlife of Pamber Forest nature reserve.
