Young library users urged to share their views with CBBC’s Newsround

Here’s one for the younger readers (or their parents). Thanks to Shirley Burnham for sharing details of this invitation from CBBC’s Newsround programme to hear to views of young people on library closures.

Following the news of library closures across the country, they interviewed Children’s Laureate and Gruffalo author Julia Donaldson. She’s expressed her concerns many times over the last couple of years on library closures and now Newsround what to hear what young people have to say

They say,

How important is your local library to you? Perhaps your library is facing closure – does it matter to you?

Do you ever go to the library? Maybe you reckon you don’t need one? How could your local library be improved?

Whatever you think, we want to know your opinion on this!
