Don’t forget that tonight sees the last Cafe Scientifique of the season tonight.
David Livingstone will be giving a talk on the History And Development Of Drugs.
His talk will cover the early history of drugs which came from natural products, the development of synthetic drugs through the pharmaceutical industry, the application of computational chemistry to “drug design” and future developments such as personalised medicine based on genomics.
The event takes place at Shanklin Conservative Club from 7pm. Entry £3 on the door.
Please note, we will start the new season on Monday 24th September.
