Isle of Wight Radio won an award at the Commercial Radio Awards 2012 on Wednesday night – the Station Of The Year with under 300,000 people in their area.
They were selected from a short list of three, which also included The Bay and MFR.
The other two Station Of The Year awards for the larger 300k – 1m and 1 million + were won by 106 JACKfm Oxfordshire and Absolute Radio respectivily.
