Following on from yesterday’s news items we can now reveal that Hyphose Limited have become the latest 2016 heat sponsor to be formally announced.
They have had close relationships with a number of companies on the Island and now have a sub distributor based on the Isle of Wight namely Tony Hydraulics who manage their 24 hour hydraulic hose replacement service on the Island.
Dave Johnson from Hyphose said,
“We have sponsored Brendan Johnson since he started his career in British speedway and although he has ridden for a number of clubs, because of how he was treated after his huge accident in 2009 the IOW has always held a special place in our company’s thoughts and also Brendan’s. By helping out the new team in this way we wanted to show the Islander’s how much we appreciated their assistance in Brendan’s hour of need.”
A delighted Barry Bishop from Island Speedway commented,
“Dave’s offer of support in recognition of how Brendan was treated here before Martin Widman’s and my time at the helm is superb. Not only is there the heat sponsorship but also some material sponsorship should we need this. We warmly welcome Hyphose to the club.”
Island Speedway’s technical boss Martin Widman said,
“All this support with material and technical know how is priceless to us as a team and will help to make our racing facility something that will be proper and long lasting. We really appreciate the sponsorship of Hyphose Limited and we look forward to working with them.”
