A police helicopter from Bournemouth assisted in the pursuit of three teenage suspects after a 13 year old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in Cowes at around 1am this morning (Thursday).
Police confirm to OnTheWight that three boys, one aged 16 and the other two aged 14 have been arrested on suspicion of the sexual assault.
They are still being held in custody.
