The secondary school has been long held up by local politicians as the 'beacon' school for the Isle of Wight, but today, Ofsted have dealt a shocking blow with an Inadequate rating for the school.
Christ the King College was formed in 2008 by the merging of two Isle of Wight faith schools, Archbishop King and Trinity Middle.
Located in Carisbrooke, it formed its own Sixth Form in December 2013.
