Hot on the heels of the resignations of the Leader and Deputy Leader of the Isle of Wight council and the Executive resignations of Cllrs Jordan and Stephens, another Independent councillor has stepped down from the Executive.
Gordon Kendall was elected as Isle of Wight councillor for Bembridge Brading and St Helens in May 2013.
He served on the Isle of Wight Executive as member for Human Resources, Organisational Change and Exchequer Services as well as member for Adult Social Care, resigning in February 2015.
In January 2017 he rejoined the Executive to become the member for major contract management and car parking.
