Following a split vote on the proposed restructure of senior management at the Isle of Wight Council, Cllr Kendall told the CP he's quit his post on the Executive. Leader says nothing official has been received yet.
Gordon Kendall was elected as Isle of Wight councillor for Bembridge Brading and St Helens in May 2013.
He served on the Isle of Wight Executive as member for Human Resources, Organisational Change and Exchequer Services as well as member for Adult Social Care, resigning in February 2015.
In January 2017 he rejoined the Executive to become the member for major contract management and car parking.
