New brand of milk launched as a way to protect the Island's heritage, ensure farmers get a fair price for their milk and to lessen the impact on the environment by reducing travel distances
The ‘I Love Isle of Wight Milk’ campaign was headed by Andrew Turner and a collection of Island dairy farmers, launching in August 2012.
The bottled and branded milk was stocked in nearly 50 shops across the Isle of Wight, until April 2014, when that brand of milk stopped.
Milk produced by Isle of Wight dairies is still available across the Island under the dairies own names.
