If you still haven't spotted one of the white-tailed eagles that were released on the Isle of Wight, your chances have improved as another 12 have now been released
In August 2019 three pairs of juvenile White-Tailed Eagles (Sea Eagles) were released on the Isle of Wight, as part of a programme to restore this lost species to the South of the UK.
In summer 2020, seven more were released. In 2021 another 12 were released on the Island.
In 2024 another eight were released on the Island.
