Two men said they'd been lent the canoe by a man in a pub and had been using sticks instead of paddles. They claimed they'd ended up aground because of the unwelcome attentions of a seal!
The next episode in the second series of BBC2’s documentary on the RNLI, which airs at 8pm on Tuesday 26th September, will include footage of the Yarmouth lifeboat in action and interviews with the Coxswain and members of the volunteer crew.
